Remember book reports when we were in school? For some they were a dreaded terrible thing, for others they were fun ways to recall your favorite book and an easy format to tell someone what the book was about. I've decided to post some reports of books I've read recently; let's jump right in. This book called to me from a Deli in Brooklyn. There was a small bookshelf with free books! Ya'll know how I love books! The Bookshelf was put there by Books x Bodegas, there is even a little QR code in the book so you can let them know what you thought of it.  I've never talked about a movie on this blog but I couldn't help but to tell ya'll about this one. I was 4 years old when it came out and 42 years old when I discovered it. It's called MOVING it was written by: Andy Breckman , Directed by: Alan Metter and it starred Richard Pryor .       This movie was about a black family that had to move from their hometown to a new city because of the Father's new job. The thing that compelled me to write about this movie was all the levels of emotional regulation skills it showed. Let's break them down.       This was a family of 5. There was a mother, father, teenage daughter (senior in high school) and two twin boys who were in maybe 8th grade. The father was offered a high paying job in another city 6hrs from their hometown. The Mother didn't want to leave her family and friends and the daughter didn't want to leave before she graduated. The twins didn't want to go but they went with the flow. ...
