Mr. Gonzalez's 7th Grade Class

Mr. Gonzalez gave an end of the year creative writing assignment to his 7th grade class. Each student was to come up with their own story and put it in book form. Turn's out he has a bunch of creative minds in his class. I took the time out to read a few. In some the hand writing was so small I had to pass, my eyes were not picking up what I was seeing. The few I did read were really fun.

Here are some of my reviews

CAPTAIN BUCKET HEAD  favorite line was: We were tied up in the back of the carriage. There weren't any couches (sadly) so my rear was learning the worst qualities of a wooden board! This story took me on a wild ride in an imaginary world, great job!

The great Pollution, Recycler & Smoke clearer (P.R.A.S.C) This story had a fun opening and knowing that the author is 12yrs old tickled me. That first line said: Frank Wright, a well built man in his mid fourties... This story took me on a corporate journey about a machine that was built, that was not supposed to be built, that was built anyway and toppled a whole government! OutStanding

Clues of Revenge This story had a great moral about people changing their mindsets and how it's often due to a life changing situation. It also left me with some questions for the author LoL. 4 Stars Great Job!

The Journey of Wealth I enjoyed the hustle of the two main characters and them staying true to what they had to do to make their dreams come true. This was a very well put together fun read. The opening sentence of this one had me laughing too because the story takes place in 1997. This creative author wasn't even born yet LOL.

Mikes Missions: Sneaky Situation This story had an absolutely fantastic moral! Simple & plain Honesty is better than deception.

Mr. Gonzalez thank you so much for sharing your class with me. These babies are 12 years old, sharp and very impressive. I especially liked the back of the book where they put their reviews. Pure laughter poured out of me when someone wrote: The #1 Series on Amazon!       -Jeff Bezos Or the one that wrote  "I could not put it down!" -Thomas Edison

We're not in LA N-E-More XII

My phone is fixed! It was broke for about two weeks, I kinda broke it myself out of frustration & it was right before Christmas. So that meant no Christmas, New years or any Holiday pics. I was a little sad at first that I couldn't post on social media but after a while I found peace in enjoying activities & not worrying about pictures or footage. I visited my son for Christmas in Upstate NY for two days, Then I went to visit my God mom for a couple days dropped her off some gifts. I went to visit my God children & my God granddaughter that was fun. My God grand daughter is two years old and my God daughter & God son asked her if she wanted to sing head shoulders, knees & toes. She said no but they decided to sing it anyway to see if she would get into it. She didn't & after they finished the song all enthusiastically this little girl with her little baby voice said " Nobody asked for all that!" My husband & I busted out laughing ...

A Recovery Love Story

Thank you Cliff for allowing me to write the love story of you & your Beautiful wife! I found this just tear jerking ❤️        There was a time in my life when my one true love was wine and spirits. I mean I knew drinking wasn't good for me & I played around with the thought of stopping every once in a while, but never enough for anything to stick. I wasn't the AA type of guy, I didn't feel the need to express my problems with a group of people. I didn't think that would be my route to recovery if I ever decided to stop. What I didn't know was that I was right. One day I was driving, on my way to take myself fishing. I had a 12 pack of Bud Light in my ice chest in the trunk. As I was driving I couldn't wait to pop a can open & feel that cold refreshing taste.      As I drove I passed a church tent revival. I slowed down for no particular reason & laughed to myself. I guess I caught them in a moment. Watching them as they were run...
