Sacral Chakra

Let's talk about Chakras, how u can tell they are blocked and what we can do to open them.

Sacral (Svadhisthana)

Color: Orange

Location: lower abdomen just below the navel.

Associated with: creativity, sexuality, and emotional expression

Element: Water

Stone: Carnelian and orange calcite

When this chakra is blocked one may have difficulty expressing emotions, having a lack of motivation & feeling numb towards pleasure.

When the chakra is open, one can experience heightened creativity, increased emotional expression, a deeper connection to one's sexuality, a greater sense of pleasure and sensuality and a feeling of being more in touch with your body and emotions.

Yoga poses that can help unblock the Sacral Chakra

- Reclined butterfly pose

-Goddess pose

-Low Lunge (both sides)

-Goddess/Devi pose

( hold each pose for 5 to 10 breaths)

Here's a mantra: I honor and respect my body and it's desires. You can also say

-I am in touch with my feelings and emotions

-I am worthy of Love, pleasure and joy

-I embrace change and welcome new experiences

Dance, paint, practice yoga that targets the lower abdomen, meditate, affrimate, spend some time near water, use essential oils, do some Crystal work if you prefer, journal, create healthy relationships, and include plenty of self-care.

Oils: Sweet Orange, Ylang Ylang and others can be researched

A Recovery Love Story

Thank you Cliff for allowing me to write the love story of you & your Beautiful wife! I found this just tear jerking ❤️        There was a time in my life when my one true love was wine and spirits. I mean I knew drinking wasn't good for me & I played around with the thought of stopping every once in a while, but never enough for anything to stick. I wasn't the AA type of guy, I didn't feel the need to express my problems with a group of people. I didn't think that would be my route to recovery if I ever decided to stop. What I didn't know was that I was right. One day I was driving, on my way to take myself fishing. I had a 12 pack of Bud Light in my ice chest in the trunk. As I was driving I couldn't wait to pop a can open & feel that cold refreshing taste.      As I drove I passed a church tent revival. I slowed down for no particular reason & laughed to myself. I guess I caught them in a moment. Watching them as they were run...

Finding Self PT 10 (Watch Me Flow)

After the injury everything changed. Being laid up like that with no help. I had to hobble to the market only to be ran over by crowds of people that I couldn't keep up with. Being left by the Lyft because the driver couldn't figure out how to come around the corner. Just feeling helpless, abandoned and stranded. Feelings like this will put things in a different perspective really fast. Some people out there have major support and people around to help when things get tough and some people simply just don't. For me I'm one of the one's that don't but I find that strangers are always kinder to me than my own family who is by society's standards supposed to be our first safety net & supporters.       N-E-how being laid up like that and alone I had more uninterrupted time to think than I ever did in my life. Self reflection questions that I never even thought of started to pop into my mind. The first one was career wise. The question was ...
