Food Fun Part 8

Hey family thanks for tuning in again!

Wellness over Illness

                             Eat Well 2 Live Well

by now Y'all know I'm a foodie & that i enjoy taste that tingle my tongue! it makes me so happy that I get to embark in the pleasures of life & that so many different taste are introduced into my 🌎!

So let's jump right in & see what I have for y'all this time.

This cake was made by a man that was trying to figure out how to make a super moist cake. It drove him crazy that he could't figure out how to get a cake just the way he likes it. One day he decided to mix cake mix with muffin mix & the man found the taste he was looking for! I must admit it was DELISH!!!

This was some high ass munchie shit that the same cake man from above came up with! I mean it was good but I could've done w/o the
white-chocolate pieces.

The only thing I can say about this meal; is them grits tho! Everything was great! This plate came from

The Frog Leg experience! To tell the truth it was underwhelming, mostly because it tasted too much like chicken just a little rubbery. The rest of the food was popping. That Mashed & gravy was everything, I don't indulge in beef too much but I did try the steak & brisket & yes they both got an A+.  I didn't try the Mac & Cheese, cheese & I really don't agree. This food can be found at the https://choctawpines.com/ Buffet.

Because of my seafood allergy I was not able to try this plate but it can be found at

I am not a big pickle fan. It's a whole story behind why that is because I used to be. N-e-way These Fried Pickles were really seasoned well & not bad. Try some at https://locate.walk-ons.com/la/alexandria/restaurants-17.html

I don't like cooked spinach all like that, I prefer it fresh. When I do eat it cooked it's only in the artichoke dip! This dip tho, I enjoyed it greatly. Try it at https://locate.walk-ons.com/la/alexandria/restaurants-17.html

These Daiquiris was everything & I mean it! They are huge for the price & I absolutely love the names. You can find them at https://eastsidedaiquiris.com/

I'll be back soon guys...

A Recovery Love Story

Thank you Cliff for allowing me to write the love story of you & your Beautiful wife! I found this just tear jerking ❤️        There was a time in my life when my one true love was wine and spirits. I mean I knew drinking wasn't good for me & I played around with the thought of stopping every once in a while, but never enough for anything to stick. I wasn't the AA type of guy, I didn't feel the need to express my problems with a group of people. I didn't think that would be my route to recovery if I ever decided to stop. What I didn't know was that I was right. One day I was driving, on my way to take myself fishing. I had a 12 pack of Bud Light in my ice chest in the trunk. As I was driving I couldn't wait to pop a can open & feel that cold refreshing taste.      As I drove I passed a church tent revival. I slowed down for no particular reason & laughed to myself. I guess I caught them in a moment. Watching them as they were run...

Finding Self PT 10 (Watch Me Flow)

After the injury everything changed. Being laid up like that with no help. I had to hobble to the market only to be ran over by crowds of people that I couldn't keep up with. Being left by the Lyft because the driver couldn't figure out how to come around the corner. Just feeling helpless, abandoned and stranded. Feelings like this will put things in a different perspective really fast. Some people out there have major support and people around to help when things get tough and some people simply just don't. For me I'm one of the one's that don't but I find that strangers are always kinder to me than my own family who is by society's standards supposed to be our first safety net & supporters.       N-E-how being laid up like that and alone I had more uninterrupted time to think than I ever did in my life. Self reflection questions that I never even thought of started to pop into my mind. The first one was career wise. The question was ...
