These are lines that stuck out to me when reading a book called Wild Mind, Living the writers life. By, Natalie Goldberg. (Part 10)
- You have to be willing to be uncomfortable & poor maybe for the rest of your life. ( Really tho?)
- You have to let writing eat your life & follow it where it takes you. You fit into it, it doesn't fit neatly into your life. It makes you wild! (Wild was a bad thing to me in the past, now I embrace my wild side.)
- Let yourself burn, let yourself want something bad. It's a life force. (It gives a real adrenaline rush!)
- I thought my whole life of writing was an addiction, that I had given up home, lovers, & a normal life for it. (It is a healthy addiction now!)
- It's my passion! ( Mine too, I'm glad I found it again)
- Let passion burn all the way, heating up every layer of the psyche, the conscious & the unconscious. Get tougher than that, don't let anything take it away. ( Be your authentic Self)
