You Have 2 Be Willing (An Anthology)

These are lines that stuck out to me when reading a book called Wild Mind, Living the writers life. By, Natalie Goldberg. (Part 10)

  • You have to be willing to be uncomfortable & poor maybe for the rest of your life.          ( Really tho?)

  • You have to let writing eat your life & follow it where it takes you. You fit into it, it doesn't fit neatly into your life. It makes you wild!                                                  (Wild was a bad thing to me in the past, now I embrace my wild side.)

  • Let yourself burn, let yourself want something bad. It's a life force.                             (It gives a real adrenaline rush!)

  • I thought my whole life of writing was an addiction, that I had given up home, lovers, & a normal life for it. (It is a healthy addiction now!)

  • It's my passion! ( Mine too, I'm glad I found it again)

  • Let passion burn all the way, heating up every layer of the psyche, the conscious & the unconscious. Get tougher than that, don't let anything take it away.                                    ( Be your authentic Self)

    A Recovery Love Story

Thank you Cliff for allowing me to write the love story of you & your Beautiful wife! I found this just tear jerking ❤️        There was a time in my life when my one true love was wine and spirits. I mean I knew drinking wasn't good for me & I played around with the thought of stopping every once in a while, but never enough for anything to stick. I wasn't the AA type of guy, I didn't feel the need to express my problems with a group of people. I didn't think that would be my route to recovery if I ever decided to stop. What I didn't know was that I was right. One day I was driving, on my way to take myself fishing. I had a 12 pack of Bud Light in my ice chest in the trunk. As I was driving I couldn't wait to pop a can open & feel that cold refreshing taste.      As I drove I passed a church tent revival. I slowed down for no particular reason & laughed to myself. I guess I caught them in a moment. Watching them as they were run...

    Cilla Lee-Jenkins Book 12

Remember book reports when we were in school? For some they were a dreaded terrible thing, for others they were fun ways to recall your favorite book and an easy format to tell someone what the book was about. I've decided to post some reports of books I've read recently; let's jump right in.       This book was given to me as an inspiration gift because it was noticed that I enjoy writing and reading very much. At work during down time I would write short stories and I even wrote the love story of one of my married co-workers on this blog. Matter fact the person that gave me the book!
