These are lines that stuck out to me when reading a book called Wild Mind, Living the writers life. By, Natalie Goldberg. (Part 6)
- You have 2 shut up & write! (Get them thoughts out there!)
- It's not therapy, it's the root of literature, direct connection with your mind. ( And that's where the thoughts are formed)
- Everything will eventually pass away; y be sad? Because we love & no matter how dispassionate we become, we are not ice bricks. We are human beings with feelings. (Embrace itπ)
- U don't have to be distraught, poverty stricken, or miserable 2 be a writer. (If u are wise that's something u won't have 2 worry about π)
- To know u belong on the earth is a good thing. To know ur body is ur own & not someone else's is a good thing. ( U belong 2 u, if u let someone barrow u, always get urself back; if someone steals u, fight 2 the death for ur freedom πͺπΎ)
- I own my own mind, I claim my thoughts. My mouth & the words I say with it are mine & no one can take that away. I write like myself. ( Say that loud about 5 times or until u feel itπ―)
- You just have 2 do it yourself, that's the way it is. You have 2 do it, u have 2 run, write or sit. No one can do it 4 u. (Repeat this as well; I MUST PUT MY OWN WORK IN.)
