A Guide for Writers/No One Cares That Much (An Anthology)

These are lines that stuck out to me when reading a book called Wild Mind, Living the writers life. By, Natalie Goldberg. (Part 8)

  • After a while you realize that no one cares that much. Then u find another reason: money, u can dream on that while the bills pile up. Then you think: well I'm the sensitive type. I have to express myself. Do me a favor don't be so sensitive. Be tough, it will get u further along when u get rejected. Finally, u just do it because u happen to like it. ( I do it because I like it)

  • I'm not waiting around 4 n-e-one 2 give me the signal. We just have 2 step forward with our hearts & act. That's also the best place to come from as writer.               (That's y I started this blog)

  • We are going to write down what we think. Right or wrong doesn't matter. We are standing up & saying who we are. (Be fearless)

  • I do this not 4 u. I do it so I can shut up the gnawing, dimwitted critics in my brain who tell me I am nothing. (I can relate)

  • Make positive effort for the good. Even though the monsters are screaming in your face, get over there-to the desk, the couch, the cafe & begin to write.                             (I often have to push myself in this very same way.)

  • It leads no where. It's a dumb thing to major in, It's good to be dumb it allows us to love something or someone 4 no reason. That's the best kind of love. Simple, direct, to the point. (It truly is I think you can experience this more than once in life.)

Finding Self PT 10 (Watch Me Flow)

After the injury everything changed. Being laid up like that with no help. I had to hobble to the market only to be ran over by crowds of people that I couldn't keep up with. Being left by the Lyft because the driver couldn't figure out how to come around the corner. Just feeling helpless, abandoned and stranded. Feelings like this will put things in a different perspective really fast. Some people out there have major support and people around to help when things get tough and some people simply just don't. For me I'm one of the one's that don't but I find that strangers are always kinder to me than my own family who is by society's standards supposed to be our first safety net & supporters.       N-E-how being laid up like that and alone I had more uninterrupted time to think than I ever did in my life. Self reflection questions that I never even thought of started to pop into my mind. The first one was career wise. The question was ...

A Fabulous Personal Home Assistant

Being a Personal Home Assistant is more than just a job to me. It's a peaceful and satisfying experience that I look forward to with each appointment booked. When I walk into a client's home, I take pride in knowing that I'm not just cleaning their space, but also making their lives comfortable & more enjoyable.      There's something about the feeling of a clean home that just makes everything better. And when my clients are happy with my work, it makes me happy too! It's a sense of accomplishment that one can't quite describe.     I know that some people might think that being a cleaning person is a menial job, but I see it as so much more than that. It's about taking care of people's homes & when you do it with professionalism as well as confidence, it becomes something truly special.      My clients trust me with their homes & their belongings; I take that responsibility seriously. It's not just about cle...
