LA Street Tacos

LA has no shortage of tacos let me tell you! There are two spots that I absolutely love tho. I've learned that no matter how many taco stands there are none of the tacos taste the same🧐

The first one we'll talk about is the one that pulls up on 6th and Rose in Venice. It's a taco truck and they sell the regular taco (chicken) for just $2. Omg the taste is amazing & don't let me get started on how they pack one taco so full of goodness that u can make two! How great is that for $2 you basically get 2 tacos & the best part is I was definitely full & then I  headed up the street to CVS and grabbed a $1 Arizona iced tea. I accomplished having a $3 & some change lunch in LA, good times 😁 If your ever up that way grab one you won't be disappointed.

The next stand that I love is located behind the Ralph's on Wilshire Blvd on the corner of Brentwood. Let me tell you how much I love it. I love it so much that I'm addicted & I know they are not there on Monday's. The rest of the week they show up around 3 or 4pm & stay until about 11 or 12pm. I don't know what it is about those chicken tacos, but baby that pico de gallo added with them lil pineapple chunks, 2 cucumber slices, and this guacamole sauce that is absolutely amazing, ooooh let me not forget that squeeze of lime I give it!

Come to LA enjoy the Tacos & Expresspassion4life!

A Recovery Love Story

Thank you Cliff for allowing me to write the love story of you & your Beautiful wife! I found this just tear jerking ❤️        There was a time in my life when my one true love was wine and spirits. I mean I knew drinking wasn't good for me & I played around with the thought of stopping every once in a while, but never enough for anything to stick. I wasn't the AA type of guy, I didn't feel the need to express my problems with a group of people. I didn't think that would be my route to recovery if I ever decided to stop. What I didn't know was that I was right. One day I was driving, on my way to take myself fishing. I had a 12 pack of Bud Light in my ice chest in the trunk. As I was driving I couldn't wait to pop a can open & feel that cold refreshing taste.      As I drove I passed a church tent revival. I slowed down for no particular reason & laughed to myself. I guess I caught them in a moment. Watching them as they were run...

Cilla Lee-Jenkins Book 12

Remember book reports when we were in school? For some they were a dreaded terrible thing, for others they were fun ways to recall your favorite book and an easy format to tell someone what the book was about. I've decided to post some reports of books I've read recently; let's jump right in.       This book was given to me as an inspiration gift because it was noticed that I enjoy writing and reading very much. At work during down time I would write short stories and I even wrote the love story of one of my married co-workers on this blog. Matter fact the person that gave me the book! You can read his story here it's called A Recovery Love Story .  Author:   Susan Tan/ Illustrated by, Dana Wulfekotte Title:    Cilla Lee - Jenkins The Epic Story Main Characters:     Cilla Lee-Jenkins, Gwendolyn Lee-Jenkins, Essie Lee-Jenkins, Ye Ye, Nai Nai, Grandma Jenkins, Grandpa Jenkins, Mom & Dad Setting:   This story mostly takes place b...
