  1. I have a friend that's more like my brother we've been kicking it since highschool and we're in our 50's now. I recently got married & he's ya know still single hollering at the women. I just wanna know if it's inappropriate for me to be hanging out with him anymore. I mean I'm not about cheating on my wife, & I'm not hating because he's not married. It's just weird for me, any advice?

  2. Hey married guy ☺️ Don't stop hanging with the homie! If you're really not about cheating on ur wife you won't. If you want, be his wing man or just fall back when he does his thing. If he finds a hook up, that just means it's time for u to go home. I believe u can have fun with your friends n go home when appropriate for you πŸ’―

  3. I have a 17 year old daughter. I am an addict. And unfortunately, she saw me overdose, and now, I really don't know if she will ever forgive me. She doesn't understand that addiction is a disease. How can I explain this to her? And she's very grown for her age. She's a mom herself.

    1. Wow that's a big deal. First of all I'm sorry that either of you guys had to experience that. You as a parent need to tighten up some with ur boundaries around ur child. It is easy for a 17 year old to be grown, hey they almost areπŸ™πŸΏ U have to be a role model and a better example to gain back her respect. Hope this helps 😊 if u need any further assistance please email me @ aporhomebase@gmail.com recovery is something I don't take lightly πŸ™πŸΏ

  4. Hi Jodie, I found a wallet and it had $700 in it. I got so nervous and needed the πŸ’° so bad that I didn't think to turn the wallet in somewhere & just take the money. I even thought about sending it to the address on the ID with all the money in it. Then I'm like what if they don't live at the address on the ID. So I just took the money & mailed the wallet to the address on the ID. Should I feel bad? Am I now a theif?

A Recovery Love Story

Thank you Cliff for allowing me to write the love story of you & your Beautiful wife! I found this just tear jerking ❤️        There was a time in my life when my one true love was wine and spirits. I mean I knew drinking wasn't good for me & I played around with the thought of stopping every once in a while, but never enough for anything to stick. I wasn't the AA type of guy, I didn't feel the need to express my problems with a group of people. I didn't think that would be my route to recovery if I ever decided to stop. What I didn't know was that I was right. One day I was driving, on my way to take myself fishing. I had a 12 pack of Bud Light in my ice chest in the trunk. As I was driving I couldn't wait to pop a can open & feel that cold refreshing taste.      As I drove I passed a church tent revival. I slowed down for no particular reason & laughed to myself. I guess I caught them in a moment. Watching them as they were run...

Cilla Lee-Jenkins Book 12

Remember book reports when we were in school? For some they were a dreaded terrible thing, for others they were fun ways to recall your favorite book and an easy format to tell someone what the book was about. I've decided to post some reports of books I've read recently; let's jump right in.       This book was given to me as an inspiration gift because it was noticed that I enjoy writing and reading very much. At work during down time I would write short stories and I even wrote the love story of one of my married co-workers on this blog. Matter fact the person that gave me the book! You can read his story here it's called A Recovery Love Story .  Author:   Susan Tan/ Illustrated by, Dana Wulfekotte Title:    Cilla Lee - Jenkins The Epic Story Main Characters:     Cilla Lee-Jenkins, Gwendolyn Lee-Jenkins, Essie Lee-Jenkins, Ye Ye, Nai Nai, Grandma Jenkins, Grandpa Jenkins, Mom & Dad Setting:   This story mostly takes place b...
