Food Fun Part 3

 Wellness over Illness

Eat Healthy, Eat Happy😋

Everyone's body is different and everything that is called "food" does not agree with everyone the same. As you eat mindfully you come to an understanding of what foods sit well with you and which don't. I consider myself a food enthusiast and I have been introducing myself to new healthy alternatives, for the past 2 yrs. The process of preparing meals & eating them has become more fun and a surprise for my taste buds every time.

Since your here I'd like to share some of my favorite dishes with you!

Now this is a sandwich made at Ralphs Supermarket in Cali. It had honey turkey, smoked gouda cheese, spinach, onions, sweet peppers, sun dried tomato, chipotle dressing & avocado! Yummy in my tummy💜

I made this one myself. Fried potatoes with fresh cut garlic & onions, scrambled eggs with spinach, tomato, onion, smoked gouda cheese & tofurkey, wheat bread toast with butter & sliced avocado👀

The chicken taco bowl from Taco Plus in Cali was definitely a Plus. It was laced with chicken (of course), lettuce, shredded cheese, sour cream (my favorite), tomatoes, guacamole & mild salsa! Hubby had a rice & bean burrito.

I also made this wonderful creation💕 It is Hot chocolate made with fudgy bombs (in the back of the pic), I added hot almond milk (unsweetened), some whipped cream, a shot of tequila, and a cherry!
Here is the link to the chocolate ball fiasco https://youtu.be/JqKmH-5vb1s

These are salted pretzel short breads I brought from MoM's market in Philly. They tasted ok at best, I mean they are good with milk or coffee. I didn't go wild for them but I enjoyed the adventure. Would I buy them again probably not they were a little too baking soda tasting to me, but try them if you dare😂

A Recovery Love Story

Thank you Cliff for allowing me to write the love story of you & your Beautiful wife! I found this just tear jerking ❤️        There was a time in my life when my one true love was wine and spirits. I mean I knew drinking wasn't good for me & I played around with the thought of stopping every once in a while, but never enough for anything to stick. I wasn't the AA type of guy, I didn't feel the need to express my problems with a group of people. I didn't think that would be my route to recovery if I ever decided to stop. What I didn't know was that I was right. One day I was driving, on my way to take myself fishing. I had a 12 pack of Bud Light in my ice chest in the trunk. As I was driving I couldn't wait to pop a can open & feel that cold refreshing taste.      As I drove I passed a church tent revival. I slowed down for no particular reason & laughed to myself. I guess I caught them in a moment. Watching them as they were run...

Cilla Lee-Jenkins Book 12

Remember book reports when we were in school? For some they were a dreaded terrible thing, for others they were fun ways to recall your favorite book and an easy format to tell someone what the book was about. I've decided to post some reports of books I've read recently; let's jump right in.       This book was given to me as an inspiration gift because it was noticed that I enjoy writing and reading very much. At work during down time I would write short stories and I even wrote the love story of one of my married co-workers on this blog. Matter fact the person that gave me the book!
