We're not n LA N-E-More (Part X)

I sure didn't see any of this coming. We are not on the cannabis farm anymore, overall it was a positive experience. I learned the winterization process of the farm & also how to feed, water, harvest & buck the plants. I learned about the licensing system along with the rules & regulations weaved throughout. I met a real live "Karen" & was able to witness her in action. I was able to keep all the trimmings from the plants we bucked & there were hundreds.

About two months into our stay we were told that the farm wasn't making as much money as the owner expected this year & that it would be a better financial move if he shut things down until the spring. This was unexpected for us because we were originally told we could stay for a year. The options were to either go back to LA or back to Philly . Of course I didn't want to go back to Philly but going back to Cali with no plan terrified me more. I would rather go back on my own & figure it out that way.

I already have my Cali ID, EBT card & a doctor I go to, y start all that over? I mean really for what. So we left the Cannabis farm on December 14th. We drove to Portland Oregon so that my husband could runite with his daughter that he hadn't seen in 20yrs. Then we stopped in Arizona so that he could check in on 3 of his nephews. Then we drove to Philly where we checked in on my mom & them. While I hung out with my mom & them, my husband drove 20min over the bridge to New Jersey to check in on his mother & them.

Now it's Christmas night and we're in Upstate New York visiting my son. Boy what a drive it's been. At least we were able to rest here for three days. Tomorrow we have to drive back to Philly because I have some people to see & some things to wrap up there. I will let you know how that goes & that this would be the first time I have no plan. I am just going to go where ever the wind blows me, let's see what happens. Oh yeah let's add more fuel to the fire my phone broke yesterday & I won't have another one until who knows when. Fight on mighty fighters let nothing keep you down!

A Recovery Love Story

Thank you Cliff for allowing me to write the love story of you & your Beautiful wife! I found this just tear jerking ❤️        There was a time in my life when my one true love was wine and spirits. I mean I knew drinking wasn't good for me & I played around with the thought of stopping every once in a while, but never enough for anything to stick. I wasn't the AA type of guy, I didn't feel the need to express my problems with a group of people. I didn't think that would be my route to recovery if I ever decided to stop. What I didn't know was that I was right. One day I was driving, on my way to take myself fishing. I had a 12 pack of Bud Light in my ice chest in the trunk. As I was driving I couldn't wait to pop a can open & feel that cold refreshing taste.      As I drove I passed a church tent revival. I slowed down for no particular reason & laughed to myself. I guess I caught them in a moment. Watching them as they were run...

Cilla Lee-Jenkins Book 12

Remember book reports when we were in school? For some they were a dreaded terrible thing, for others they were fun ways to recall your favorite book and an easy format to tell someone what the book was about. I've decided to post some reports of books I've read recently; let's jump right in.       This book was given to me as an inspiration gift because it was noticed that I enjoy writing and reading very much. At work during down time I would write short stories and I even wrote the love story of one of my married co-workers on this blog. Matter fact the person that gave me the book!
