Self-Evaluation Finished

 Jodie's Interview with Jodie

Hi Jodie welcome back & thank you for finishing the evaluation. The last question we left off at was what brings you down?

That is sometimes a hard question 2 answer, especially when I don't want 2 think about the topic. That's y it took so long 2 respond.

The one thing that I'm trying to adjust to that brings me down the most is not freaking out when things don't go as planned. I have a habit of getting really bent out of shape mentally & physically for a detrimental brief moment when things don't go as planned in my personal life. As a matter of fact  I've been bent out of shape for years because, my family did not turn out as planned, nor my life for that matter.

Why/how do u feel that these things have brought u down?

As I look back on a lot of situations & analyze them, I come to realize it was mostly due to me freaking out & making crazy decisions, moving out of anger due to past or current traumas, constantly living in a state of sheer panic, frustration, confusion & desperation, this is what  caused my major downfall.

  1. I can relate to doing things out of desperation. That's never a good way to move. It causes damage everytime at least it has in my experience.

A Recovery Love Story

Thank you Cliff for allowing me to write the love story of you & your Beautiful wife! I found this just tear jerking ❤️        There was a time in my life when my one true love was wine and spirits. I mean I knew drinking wasn't good for me & I played around with the thought of stopping every once in a while, but never enough for anything to stick. I wasn't the AA type of guy, I didn't feel the need to express my problems with a group of people. I didn't think that would be my route to recovery if I ever decided to stop. What I didn't know was that I was right. One day I was driving, on my way to take myself fishing. I had a 12 pack of Bud Light in my ice chest in the trunk. As I was driving I couldn't wait to pop a can open & feel that cold refreshing taste.      As I drove I passed a church tent revival. I slowed down for no particular reason & laughed to myself. I guess I caught them in a moment. Watching them as they were run...

Cilla Lee-Jenkins Book 12

Remember book reports when we were in school? For some they were a dreaded terrible thing, for others they were fun ways to recall your favorite book and an easy format to tell someone what the book was about. I've decided to post some reports of books I've read recently; let's jump right in.       This book was given to me as an inspiration gift because it was noticed that I enjoy writing and reading very much. At work during down time I would write short stories and I even wrote the love story of one of my married co-workers on this blog. Matter fact the person that gave me the book! You can read his story here it's called A Recovery Love Story .  Author:   Susan Tan/ Illustrated by, Dana Wulfekotte Title:    Cilla Lee - Jenkins The Epic Story Main Characters:     Cilla Lee-Jenkins, Gwendolyn Lee-Jenkins, Essie Lee-Jenkins, Ye Ye, Nai Nai, Grandma Jenkins, Grandpa Jenkins, Mom & Dad Setting:   This story mostly takes place b...
