Journaling the 90 Day Go Hard Workout Wk 9 ( LA Story)

This week was sort of regular I worked watched some movies and ran some important errands. This week I even started a challenge for myself I want to see if I can get into the Peace Corp. I looked into it and I qualify but they said it is a competitive process and they get a lot of applicants.  Let's see if I can get selected, it's a long process so I won't know until sometime March 2023. So we'll revisit this subject again in a few months.

Hubby went back to work and is still working on his two E-books. We also went back down to Venice Beach https://recreation.parks.lacity.gov/venice/ graffiti pit to sale stone & DJ. That is always fun and we meet so many people from across the world. I started like three parties yesterday with people passing by dancing to the music. The plan is to host a party there soon after we purchase our truck or van.

I also decided to do Bartending school again. I spent $800 on it a couple years ago only not to finish due to my workload being heavy at the time. I'm interested in becoming a mixologist because with that certification I can work anywhere in the world, I enjoy people, music and an all around good time so why not. The future is bright & there's no where to go up up!

I'll see you next week... There's 12 weeks in 90 days and were coming up on the last three

BTW this is the yogurt my favorite parfait is made from!

A Recovery Love Story

Thank you Cliff for allowing me to write the love story of you & your Beautiful wife! I found this just tear jerking ❤️        There was a time in my life when my one true love was wine and spirits. I mean I knew drinking wasn't good for me & I played around with the thought of stopping every once in a while, but never enough for anything to stick. I wasn't the AA type of guy, I didn't feel the need to express my problems with a group of people. I didn't think that would be my route to recovery if I ever decided to stop. What I didn't know was that I was right. One day I was driving, on my way to take myself fishing. I had a 12 pack of Bud Light in my ice chest in the trunk. As I was driving I couldn't wait to pop a can open & feel that cold refreshing taste.      As I drove I passed a church tent revival. I slowed down for no particular reason & laughed to myself. I guess I caught them in a moment. Watching them as they were run...

Cilla Lee-Jenkins Book 12

Remember book reports when we were in school? For some they were a dreaded terrible thing, for others they were fun ways to recall your favorite book and an easy format to tell someone what the book was about. I've decided to post some reports of books I've read recently; let's jump right in.       This book was given to me as an inspiration gift because it was noticed that I enjoy writing and reading very much. At work during down time I would write short stories and I even wrote the love story of one of my married co-workers on this blog. Matter fact the person that gave me the book! You can read his story here it's called A Recovery Love Story .  Author:   Susan Tan/ Illustrated by, Dana Wulfekotte Title:    Cilla Lee - Jenkins The Epic Story Main Characters:     Cilla Lee-Jenkins, Gwendolyn Lee-Jenkins, Essie Lee-Jenkins, Ye Ye, Nai Nai, Grandma Jenkins, Grandpa Jenkins, Mom & Dad Setting:   This story mostly takes place b...
