Journaling the 90 Day Go Hard Workout Wk 10 ( LA Story)

This week was pretty vague but exciting in it's own way.  I have been working with a Peace Corps recruiter, I want to see if I can get in! You need a BA/BS degree or 5 years experience in human services. I am 41 credits away from my BS & I now have over 20+ years experience in human services. I contacted some people from my old job & my mentor, they were very excited to be references. I want to be a youth facilitator in Malawi Africa the whole program is two years.  The process has started the application has to be in by October 1st. I was also told that Peace Corps is a little bias when it comes to mental health, I plan to put the truth in my application.

Work, Work, Work, Work, Work that's all we've been doing lately trying to get my finances in order & we are going to San Diego for our 2yr anniversary in November. I plan to start my work-out plan back October 1st, I been feeling kind of sluggish lately; I see how important working out is! I'm 125lbs & my skinny ass caught a crap putting my shoes on!

In two weeks the 90 day workout journal will be over and we will reflect on all that has happened💪

A Recovery Love Story

Thank you Cliff for allowing me to write the love story of you & your Beautiful wife! I found this just tear jerking ❤️        There was a time in my life when my one true love was wine and spirits. I mean I knew drinking wasn't good for me & I played around with the thought of stopping every once in a while, but never enough for anything to stick. I wasn't the AA type of guy, I didn't feel the need to express my problems with a group of people. I didn't think that would be my route to recovery if I ever decided to stop. What I didn't know was that I was right. One day I was driving, on my way to take myself fishing. I had a 12 pack of Bud Light in my ice chest in the trunk. As I was driving I couldn't wait to pop a can open & feel that cold refreshing taste.      As I drove I passed a church tent revival. I slowed down for no particular reason & laughed to myself. I guess I caught them in a moment. Watching them as they were run...

Cilla Lee-Jenkins Book 12

Remember book reports when we were in school? For some they were a dreaded terrible thing, for others they were fun ways to recall your favorite book and an easy format to tell someone what the book was about. I've decided to post some reports of books I've read recently; let's jump right in.       This book was given to me as an inspiration gift because it was noticed that I enjoy writing and reading very much. At work during down time I would write short stories and I even wrote the love story of one of my married co-workers on this blog. Matter fact the person that gave me the book! You can read his story here it's called A Recovery Love Story .  Author:   Susan Tan/ Illustrated by, Dana Wulfekotte Title:    Cilla Lee - Jenkins The Epic Story Main Characters:     Cilla Lee-Jenkins, Gwendolyn Lee-Jenkins, Essie Lee-Jenkins, Ye Ye, Nai Nai, Grandma Jenkins, Grandpa Jenkins, Mom & Dad Setting:   This story mostly takes place b...
